Layout: Then There Was You

I have loved every bit of my May Scraptastic kit. I think within 48 hours of opening the kit I had 3 layouts and a card. There must have been some magic mojo dust in the box as well! This layout was inspired by the cut out card. I had used all but three cut outs on another layout and had the scraps on my desk. The journaling was then inspired by the title.

I addition to my kit, I added the Studio Calico arrows that came in a past kit, the After the Storm stamp set by Ormolu, some mist and the mistable Studio Calico stars.

Card: Hello

Another card created from scraps! As soon as saw this card with the balloons I knew it would make a sweet card. I embellished the front a bit with sequins, an October Afternoon journaling card, and a flair from Ormolu.

Layout: Little Swimmer

I completed this layout as a part of a little challenge my scrappy pals and I shared over the weekend. We all got on video chat and one person issued a 'recipe' of sorts to follow. I cheated. Kind of like substituting applesauce for butter or oil. Also like adding extra chocolate chips to pancakes. I like to be creative in the kitchen and rarely follow a recipe to a T.

In creating this layout I used pennants from my Scraptastic Kit, removing then from their stick and threading them onto some twine. I then added four different washi tapes to finish the banner. I really like the look of that banner and intend to try it again!

Layout: Totally EB

For National Scrapbook Day (weekend) the Young Scrappers organized festivities of our own that complimented any other challenges being held in all corners of the Internet. Knowing we all wanted to play along with different challenges here and there, we came up with recipe challenges, scraplift challenges, and all sorts of fun games that we could play via video chat. I know I had a blast, and even though I only have 3 layouts to show for the weekend, I had some major mojo! (The laundry fairy failed to show up at my house to help out)

This layout is a scraplift of Monica Blain's Spooky Dog. I love how she had the phrase stickers running down the side of the page and the layout of the photo.

My dear, sweet, sometimes violent Eureka:
