Layout: Upside Down Point of View

I finally got around to creating a layout for last week's Scraptastic sketch challenge:

I didn't follow the sketch exactly, but it is pretty close:

I wanted to make the most of the Color blind kit and have teeny tiny scraps of patterned paper, two pieces of red cardstock and a few embellishments left. I am super happy with the final layout and  that there are not many items to store. I love when I can create layouts I love and move on to the next kit.
Love the Ormolu flair!
And the Ormolu cut apart tag that rounds out the title!

Layout: Owl Love You to Bits

I created this layout using the Colorblind kit from Scraptastic. I love the color combination and the fun geometric designs.

Layout: Happy Happy happy

I was inspired by the cut apart sheet from Carta Bella's Hello Again line. I love the pretty colors of this collection and used them to inspire the feeling of this layout.

Layout: This is Halloween 2012

This week's Scraptastic challenge is to hide an element. I started this layout right before Halloween, but...you know, life happened. To finish the layout, I tucked some journaling in the bag using a spider as the pull tab. How halloweeny of me.

Life in Details: November Challenge.

The November challenge with Life in Details was to use these awesome printables created by Michelle Yuen.
I loved using these printables to supplement my current pocket page supples. Using printables is a great way to supplement your stash and create new color combinations throughout your album.

Layout: Hello Creativity!

Have I told you lately how much I love the Scraptastic kits?

This week I received my November kit- I chose the Colorblind kit:

I love that Millie likes to color and draw already. Maybe we can continue to share crafty time together as she grows. ;)

Layout: The Smallest Things

The current challenge at the Scraptastic blog is to use a bunch of tags. I love the tags designed by Kaitlin Shaeffer (Ormolu)

I love the bright colors against the muted cardstock. I have been trying to find the perfect colors to document this sweet moment captured of my brother and Millie and I feel this captures the warm feeling in my heart perfectly.
