Layout: You Are Delightful

In the month of December I focused on creating my December album and was trying so hard to keep up I left my December kit completely untouched. I am finally getting caught up with my November and December kits. This is predominantly a December Kit layout:

I love Millie's delightful and curious spirit. She fills my days with awesome.

Currently: January 26

This year I am incorporating these Currently cards into my album weekly and will be blogging them as they are completed.

Currently we are watching tons of PBS kids shows- Daniel Tiger and Dinosaur Train are our favorites! I actually wanted to continue an episode of Dinosaur Train by myself last night after Millie was already asleep. It is entertaining and educational!
Millie's favorite book is Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? right now. She loves the slide and find aspect of the book.
Millie is playing and chattering and singing to herself more and more. It is so cute to hear! I know she is going to burst out some words and sentences any day now.
Making time for myself is a priority. The more self care I engage in, the more I can give to those around me.
We had a nasty stomach bug last week. It was no fun and because of that I will have a very busy week this week. *sigh*
Could someone send me a big snow storm so I can get caught up on work and chores?!! (We shut down in the South when it snows really big.)

Layout: Pumpkin Pickin'

I waited until the last minute to procure pumpkins last Halloween, but the in laws came to the rescue and we stopped at a pumpkin patch on our way home for looking at the fall leaves on the Parkway. In terms of cute photos, I’d say we NAILED IT! :)

Layout: Hooray Tap!

I love dance. I have loved dance since I was 9. I minored in dance in college and continue to teach dance. I am hoping to take an adult ballet class soon and reignite my passion for expressive movement and regain my creative outlet. I look forward to dancing with my daughter and cannot wait until we can take a Mommy and Me class together. She loves to dance already and knows how to pliè and bourrè turn already.

This layout is about tap. I was a late bloomer in tap. I had to quit a dance class in 5th grade because my math grade was poor and I lied to my mother about my math homework. I chose to quit tap instead of jazz. It wasn't until my senior year in high school that I decided I wanted to tap again. I auditioned for company and was placed in the Junior Precisionettes but was able to attend the Senior Precisionettes class as well. I did not compete with either class, but fulfilled my dream of dancing the opening and closing routines of the recital with my Senior Precisionette classmates.

I took a tap class in college. For fun.
And an adult class after college. And danced in a recital again. So fun!
My heart is full of dance.
