Layout: Pumpkin Pickin'

I waited until the last minute to procure pumpkins last Halloween, but the in laws came to the rescue and we stopped at a pumpkin patch on our way home for looking at the fall leaves on the Parkway. In terms of cute photos, I’d say we NAILED IT! :)

Layout: Hooray Tap!

I love dance. I have loved dance since I was 9. I minored in dance in college and continue to teach dance. I am hoping to take an adult ballet class soon and reignite my passion for expressive movement and regain my creative outlet. I look forward to dancing with my daughter and cannot wait until we can take a Mommy and Me class together. She loves to dance already and knows how to pliè and bourrè turn already.

This layout is about tap. I was a late bloomer in tap. I had to quit a dance class in 5th grade because my math grade was poor and I lied to my mother about my math homework. I chose to quit tap instead of jazz. It wasn't until my senior year in high school that I decided I wanted to tap again. I auditioned for company and was placed in the Junior Precisionettes but was able to attend the Senior Precisionettes class as well. I did not compete with either class, but fulfilled my dream of dancing the opening and closing routines of the recital with my Senior Precisionette classmates.

I took a tap class in college. For fun.
And an adult class after college. And danced in a recital again. So fun!
My heart is full of dance.

Layout: Right Here

This layout happened for the sake of creating something. I needed some down time with my paper and pretties and haven't had a chance to print any recent photos. I grabbed a photo I adore and set off to just create something.
Last week's Scraptastic challenge was to use shapes. I used a banner/fish tail shape and several circles as inspiration in the composition of this page.

Life in Details: December Challenge

This month'a challenge- ANYTHING GOES! I am using a pocketed page system to document this holiday season and I am hoping it will allow me to quickly slip in a photo or a journaling card and embellish as much as I have time for along the way!
Amelia and I are creating handprint and footprint art to be included in my December album this year. I think they will be neat to look back on in the future.

Make sure to come by the Life in Details blog and link up your projects! :)

How are you documenting your December?
