Life In Details : Challenge #1

The first Life In Details challenge is to use the following items to create a 4x6 card:
* ribbon or washi tape

* flair
* bling
* chipboard or wood veneers
* 2 different patterned papers

Here is my card:

 I used items from a couple of Scraptastic This Life Noted (PL) kits to create my card. I love how quickly my spreads come together when I use the fabulous Scraptastic kits with exclusive cards and flair by Ormolu!

And my entire spread:

Lately I have been loving the WRMK 4x4 pocket pages as I can print 9 Instagram photos, slip them in, and call it a day! It speeds up the process and saves having to change the size of my IG photos.

How do you speed up the process of documenting everyday memories?

Layout: Be Filled With Wonder

This layout was a part of a recipe challenge from a scrappy pal. The challenge was to use strips of paper, then something hard/something soft,  something matte/something shiny, and something flat/something dimensional. The title also needed to be a quote or lyric.
I love how this layout came out.

Thanks for stopping by!

Layout: Lovely

It has been a long time since a bought paper and was too in love to make the first cut...but I am swooning over Hello Again by Carta Bella. I have made the first cut, and can't wait to make more!

The August Scraptastic kits are phenomenal. Seriously. This layout was inspired by the current challenge on the Scraptastic blog- draw with mist.

All items except mist came from the Classy Girls kit + add on.

 Thanks for looking!

Layout: Summer Food

My first garden. What a learning curve! I have really enjoyed the start to finish process of growing my own food.

The Out on The Town kit and add on from Scraptastic Kit Cub have been fabulous for scrapping all sorts of summer pictures!

Layout: Hello Love

This layout was inspired by the YS Scrap Bingo Challenge.  I love this picture of Millie playing inside her toy bin. This was when standing and pulling up was brand new- seems like just a week ago- now she is off and running (when holding on to fingers or in her walker).

Layout: My Girl

I started this layout as a part of the YS Bingo Challenge. I used the line that included the following prompts:
Mist/Ink/Paint: Heidi Swapp mist splatters.
Basic shape for accent: Circles, MME brads.
Quote/Lyric for title: My Girl
Punches/Die cut machine: Circles punched from My Mind's Eye Lost and Found 3 6x6 paper pad
Photo of You: check!

As I was finishing up the layout this morning, I saw the Scraptastic challenge to use journaling strips. The journaling reads: I have so many hopes and dreams for you, my sweet girl. Mostly, I wish you joy and peace throughout your life. May you always know your worth and remain true to your dreams.

I hope I can instill a strong sense of self in Millie and teach her to love herself, trust her heart, and never doubt her worth.
